Fantasy Fiction, Romantic Fantasy

This was my first real fantasy, fantasy book I've read, and I found it very slow going to start!

I found it hard to get into the right mind set to begin as there was a lot of setting the scene and story to begin.

Once we got a little further in and some action started to happen when Feyre went with Tamlin, then I started to get hooked. My mind started opening and the creative and imaginative way of reading started happening. I'm full-on team Tamlin and Feyre and things have to work out! All this stuff under mountain has me on edge! I can't put it down; Feyre must win she must save them! The ending doesn't disappoint its action packed.

I love the other characters and what they bring to it, you're so unsure of everyone's motives! What's to come of the bargain between Feyre and Rhysand? Is Lucien really a friend to her?

All and all ended up being a great book and I'm now hooked and into the second book!

Well done Sarah J. Maas you have converted me to fantasy.
