Contemporary Romance, Age-Gap Romance

My second book by Penelope Douglas and I absolutely loved it, maybe even a little more than the first one I read 'Credence '.

As I am married to a man 14 years my senior I have a little in common with this character and found myself understanding and really relating to this character. Age is just a number if its right (and legal of course) although it certainly wasn't my ex boyfriends father LOL!.

Aside from that I really enjoyed the book, it was refreshing to see a girl/woman so young who knew her mind and knew what she wanted and needed, regardless of what others thought and knowing that their would be hurdles to overcome but still stood by who she was and what she wanted. She didn't settle for less! The main male character was totally lovable too with not alot to hate at all. This story was a slow burn to begin but definitely heated right up 🥵 a real page turner. It's a sweet, romantic, sexy, slightly taboo story with very lovable characters! Love Penelope's style of writing its so easy flowing.
