My Review- Hallowed Ground by Rebecca Yarros

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Stars 🌶🌶

'TRUE LOVE CAN BE BOTH BEAUTIFUL AND BRUTAL

Josh Walker is loyal, reckless and every girl's dream. But he only has eyes for Ember Howard, the girl he's craved since his high school day.

Ember never wanted the army life, but loving Josh means accepting whatever the army dictates - even when that means saying goodbye as he heads off to be a medevac pilot.

Filling their last days together with love and plans for their future doesn't temper Ember's fears, and if there's one thing she's learned from her father's death, it's that there are some obstacles even love can't conquer... '

This book had me in two minds as to whether I loved it, or hated it. But I think I came to the conclusion I still don't actually know, I feel very in the middle about it.

I felt like this story didnt really capture me entirely. Its not that it was a bad story because the story itself was ok, likable characters, a bit of spice. Rebecca has a good writing style which I did like.

What I think makes me sit on the fence is maybe the army romance isn't maybe my kind of style or potentially, I was not in the right mood to be reading it.

If you love hot army guys, bit of hot romance then this book might be for you. But do beware it is a touch sad. Does touch the heart a little.
